Below is my Airwolf, built in 1988, flew it for about 14 years, it is now
retired.
Hi, my name is David Laux and
welcome to my Web Site. This web site contains mainly what I am interested
in, Model R/C Helicopter stuff. I have been into R/C Model Aircraft since I
was 14. I started with Airplanes in 1976 and later, in 1985, I started
flying Helicopters. I am a member of the Big
Country Flyers, Hanna
Alberta and the
Foothills
Flyers, Calgary
Alberta. One of the Helicopters I own is an Airwolf body (by Jack
Sessums) with X-cell 60 mechanics, and it was built in 1987 (now
retired). I mainly fly Helicopters but
occasionally I teach new pilots to fly airplanes. I flew Xcells for years
but now fly the Thunder Tiger Raptors line and also a Hornet. I don't currently have
an airplane that is flyable. My other hobby is creating business oriented
computer software. I program in Microsoft Visual Basic. I am
employed with Luscar Ltd. at their Sheerness Mine, strip mining coal that is
delivered to Atco Electric's Sheerness Generating Station in East Central
Alberta, Canada, just 18 miles South of Hanna. I have been in the coal
mining business since 1990. Some of the jobs I have done are Scraper,
Grader, Track Hoe, Coal Hauler, Loader, Coal Shovel, Dragline and I am presently
on our 1300 Bucyrus Erie Dragline.
(pictures from work) Before I
got into mining, I run scraper building roads for 10 years. I also design
software which I build in Visual Basic and do Web Site Design.

R/C Stuff This is a new site that I created www.rcstuff.ca
R/C Airwolf Page What I want to do is create a section on this site dedicated to all the R/C Airwolfs out there, so if you have one or had one and have pictures, please send them to me along with any information about yourself and details about the fuselage and mechanics. If you wish to have your email address as part of the personal information, please tell me, otherwise I will not put your address with the other information on the site.
